Why Seoul? 

Seoul is a city of contrasts, from traditional Hanok villages to modern neon-lit streets, this city offers rich tapestry to inspire our team. The cultural depth of Seoul provides an authentic and visually compelling foundation for storytellers and video game creators.

Our upcoming Seoul 3D pack wouldn’t be possible without the vision and skills of Eddie Hussein, our 3d lead modeler for this project. Before the big release, we sat down with him to discuss the process, the challenges, and what makes this 3d pack unlike anything we’ve done before:

What was the biggest challenge while making the Seoul 3D pack, and how did you overcome it?

"The biggest challenge was capturing Seoul’s authentic vibe while keeping the assets optimized for performance. I overcame this through in-depth research, carefully balancing detail and efficiency, and optimizing geometry to maintain both realism and usability."

What are the standout unique elements of the Seoul 3D pack that make it ideal for game developers and filmmakers?

"The Seoul 3D Pack stands out with its authentic cultural details, modular design for flexibility, and fully optimized assets that ensure smooth performance. It’s designed to provide game developers and filmmakers with a realistic and efficient urban Korean environment."

How did you ensure a cohesive architectural style among all elements?

"I maintained a cohesive architectural style by using consistent design and real photographic references, balancing Seoul’s mix of traditional and modern aesthetics, and ensuring uniformity. This helped create a seamless and believable environment."

Are the assets optimized for video games?

"Yes, all assets are fully optimized for video games, featuring efficient polygon counts, clean topology, they are designed for strong performance while maintaining high visual fidelity."

What did you enjoy the most?

"I loved bringing Seoul’s atmosphere to life—capturing the balance between its rich history and modern energy was incredibly rewarding. Seeing everything come together as a cohesive, immersive environment was the best part!"
